3.4.6 - What is the “Community Name” asked while setting up an Osmius instance?Community Name is an optional parameter and you only need to introduce it for SNMP monitoring. It is the SNMP community name where the monitored device is configured. According to Wikipedia, it is the name or key used for authentication. Generally, there is a reading community (public) and a writing community (private).
3.4.7 - How can I activate more events in Osmius instances?You must uncheck the “Only Active” checkbox in the Event section of the instances management.
3.4.8 - How can I start and stop Osmius in Windows and Linux?In Windows, there is a shortcut for Osmius in the Start menu, there you can stop and start Osmius. In Linux you can stop it with “/etc/init.d/osmius stop” and start it with “/etc/init.d/osmius start” (you must be superuser).
