This is such a iconic classic mid-century design from famed designer Russel Wright. Designed in 1937 with production beginning in 1939 continuing to 1950. The glaze is black chutney, a mottled mix of various shades of brown. No chips, cracks or crazing but there is some scratches in the glaze as shown in last photo. An excellent piece to add to your Russel Wright collection! This is original design Russel Wright, not the Oneida reproduction store from 2002. Approximately 10.5" tall with a 72 oz liquid capacity.
