store This is a neat blend of purpose and repurpose with a hint of raven skull. The stick itself is red maple and the spear tip is an old rock guard lost from a sickle bar decades ago. The rock guard is solid cast steel and it has been partially mortised into the stick and through bolted with an old 7/16" grade bolt. The rock guard was heavily pitted with rust and by design it has a large slot where the bar was. Hence you could easily turn it into a cross by just sliding another piece through. The rock guard itself is nearly 7" long. The maple shaft varies in diameter from about 1" to 1-1/4" and it has a few protruding bumps on it as well as a small scar from years ago. There is a cane tip to make it non-slip, as well as a soft 550# paracord lanyard about 12' or 13' in length if unraveled. The lanyard is removable. The entire thing has been finished with 2 coats of solvent based polyurethane. You may want to add a sheath for safety or concealment. Overall it is 64" tall and it weighs 3#.
