Wonderful antique book on the entitled, "World-Famous Women. Types of Female Heroism, Beauty, and Influence, from the Earliest Ages to the Present Time" by Frank B Goodrich. Copyright, George store R Fagan, 1879. The genre is bibliography/history.

Women featured include Semiramis, Penelope, Cornelia, Cleopatra, Zenobia, Joan D'Arc, Mary Queen of Scots, Anne Boleyn, Diana De Poitiers, Beatrice, Maid of Saragossa, Anne Hasseltine Judson, Pocahontas, Nell Gwyn, Lady Montague, Queen Victoria, Charlotte Bronte, etc.

Illustrated with 14 steel-plate engravings and in overall good condition. Beautifully embossed cover with gold lettering. The spine does show a little wear to the edges. All pages and engravings in tact. Overall, in good condition considering its age.
