Ceramic black box with a lid; store One of a kind hand painted box

A ceramic box, hand built from slabs. Unique shape and texture.

The embossed surface is made of several layers of colored slip (liquid clay) in purple, black and gray, designed store in the water etching technique.
The interior is glazed with a speckled light turquoise glaze.
Fired to 1200°C in an electric kiln.
