This quilt measures 38 inches wide, 43 inches long.

This handmade baby girl rag quilt is so soft and cuddly! It would be a very special baby shower gift for a new baby girl or baby grand daughter! A rag quilt is perfect to cuddle up with and to lay on the floor for a baby playmat.

To make this homemade rag quilt I used an adorable giraffe flannel print, store along with pink and green flannel prints. All of the fabrics in the quilt are 100% soft, cotton flannel.

The quilt has 3 layers of flannel. The top layer has clipped ragged fringe which provides texture to stimulate baby's senses and comfort. The back layer has finished seams. The inside of the quilt is layered with flannel giving the quilt perfect weight and warmth for baby's comfort. The outside edge of the quilt is double stitched for durability, and it has clipped ragged fringe.

The quilt measures 38" X 43".

I have machine washed and dried the finished quilt once to start the fluffy, ragged process. Every time you wash and dry this quilt it will become more soft, fluffy and ragged. The quilt can be machine washed on a delicate setting using cold water with a mild detergent (do not use bleach) and machine dried on low heat.

I made this quilt in my smoke free, pet free home.
