Handmade Patchwork quilt -Pinwheels & store Stars -custom made! Please ask us for any ideas you may have for a new quilt or fixing an old one

I made this quilt for my 5 year-old grandson. We call it "Fox & Forest Friends" in a Pinwheel & Stars pattern. He loves it so much that he wants others to have one too! I've spoken to adults that want one with their favorite animal, item, or hobby.

I have combined block patterns for this quilt. With making your own, you would want to highlight the colors, pictures, and prints on the fabrics that are chosen and mix them appropriately, which I will do for you. Contact me and we will figure out what you would like to see in your new quilt. Of course, you would want it to be special to you. There is nothing like a handmade handtied quilt to curl up with on a cold night.

First, I would need the information from you on the theme, size, colors, backing fabric color that you would like for your personal quilt. Then, I will make a quilt block for you to proof to see if you approve of the pattern and colors. Please note: your computer monitor may display colors differently than they actually are in person. Only at this time, we can agree on store a change in your quilt. After approval of the quilt block, there will be no change order or cancellation option.

The patchwork pieces are all hand cut and are machine stitched together by me in my smoke-free home. The quilt topper is hand-tied with cro-sheen through the batting and backing fabric so that the poly-fil batting does not shift with washings and age. The edging is finished on the machine with zig-zag stitching.

The care for the quilt would be a low, cool wash cycle.

If cared for properly, the quilt should last a lifetime.
