Antique store Bamboo Fishing Pole 1920s Four Piece Wooden Bamboo Fishing Rod with Holder

-Vintage 1920s four piece bamboo fishing pole. What a unique fishing rod! Has four separate sections and a beautiful early holder that holds the rod sections in place. They do no sit tightly in store the grooves on the case and would need some string to wrap around the case to hold into place.

-You rarely see bamboo rods in a four piece design. Bamboo was normally used as a “cane pole” which was one very long pole with no reel. Beautiful dark and crackled patina on the rods. Case is metal and wood covered with canvas. Very early.

-This rod would make a beautiful display in any rustic setting!
