Early Fishing Creel -splint store basket

Great Fishing Creel..
A nice large one -app 14" store across & 12" deep.
The leather strap must have worn out over the years, so someone hooked up a canvas strap and attached it the the inside with an old belt.. made it totally usable...although too nice to put fish in.
Excellent condition.
I've seen these used as a mailbox, pretty neat.
