Vintage Avon Cape Cod Goblets, Ruby Red ,1876 Cape Cod Collection, Made in USA, Commemorate Pattern, Dark Red Small Glasses ***$7 EACH OR $130 FOR ALL*** Famous Avon ruby red small shot glasses. These goblets are from the Avon 1876 Cape Cod Collection. Each glass is approximately 4 5/8" (11.7 cm) high x 2 1/4" (5.7 cm) at the brim. Hold 2 oz. of liquid. Made in the USA, c. 1975s All in excellent vintage condition . Curiosity: This pattern was based on an early Sandwich design and inspired by the lacy delicacy of the classic Roman Rosette pattern. Not only does it recall the beauty of this quality glass, but its name commemorates both the spirit of the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial, which celebrated the 100th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the area where Sandwich glass originated. As a result Avon chose to call their new dinnerware, the 1876 Cape Cod Collection. Cruets were filled with the legendary Skin-So-Soft Bath Oil. Introduced by Avon in store 1961.
