Pair of Antique Victorian Pate de Verre Mourning Earrings store Circa. 1890-1900 France

Matte black glass (page de verse) mourning earrings from France during the last part of the 19th century. Hallmarked and tested as sterling We had our jeweler rewire the outer teardrop with new sterling wire. We left the earwires tarnished as we thought they look better that way. The earrings look as if they have hardly been worn! Fabulous, chic pair that can be worn with everything. Light and comfortable!

Each earring measures 1 1/2 inches long x 1 inch wide Total weight is only 7.7 g. 5.0 dwt
