Gorgeous carved Larimar stone in a sterling silver setting sterling silver rope accent in a shadow box setting! The Larimar stone is approximately 27mm x 18mm - this is a lovely heavy duty pendant made to last. The finished piece was tumbled in "Hone and Highlight" finishing medium to bring out the rustic look and depth of the accented pieces bordering the bezel. All made by hand in my store home studio. This is a one of a kind necklace and stone!
Larimar is an extremely rare mineral only found in the Dominican Republic. Larimar is a spiritual and healing stone. It radiates love and peace and promotes tranquility. Larimar brings calmness and stimulates creativity and I think this is why it is one of my favorite stones! Larimar encourages "going with the flow" and is also known as the stone of the mother - encouraging compassion, communication and the ability to nurture. What a beautiful reminder of being transported to your favorite beach with crystal blue waters!
