Antique tin hatbox hat box for Admirals Hat.
English, dating from the mid to late 19th century. Circa 1870.
Belonged to a Captain store Chadwick, 31st Regiment - see engraved plaque - nice provenance.
Size: base: 11.25 x 8.25 inches; depth: 5.5 inches to rim; 12 .75 to top.
Weight: 1.2 kg (allow 3.5 kg volumetric weight once packed).
Corroded condition but all part of its charm and character.
Priced accordingly.
