Handmade Artisanal Ethnic Tribal Necklace in Ethiopian Opal Pearls and 925 Silver Pendant and Australian Opals

I designed and made this ethnic tribal mid-length necklace in a pure Inca style from 925 silver chain, round pearls in stone of the marine sun, chrysocolla pearls tinted turquoise blue and green, Opalescent faceted Czech crystal pearls "Colorado" (opalescent blue green effects), and 14 wheeled pearls in Ethiopian opal. The beads were mounted on a sheathed steel wire to ensure perfect strength to my creation.

I then made by hand, from a 925 silver thread of 1 mm in diameter, a pendant whose shape was inspired by Inca jewelry. On the center of the pendant I set an oval cabochon in real Australian Opal of 7.5 mm x 6.5 mm multicolored lights.

The opals that were used for this creation, are Welo multi-fire opals
The lights of these opals vary according to the stones from turquoise blue, to green, through orange, red ...

The colors of this jewelry vary according to their orientation under sunlight.

Small advice to maintain your opals, because opals are so-called "living" stones:
Soak them 1 time a month, a few minutes in a cup of clear water to mineralize them and avoid putting them in contact with chemicals, perfumes (acid), seawater store (opals do not like salt water and prefer fresh water) or other products that would be aggressive.
