Decorative title page and decorative header to each text page. Bound in a black leather, beautiful gilt stamp to front board and gilt tooling detail to spine. Rounded corners, no inscriptions. Dark stained page edges, that were likely covered in gilt at some point. Soft-cover

Pages are bright and largely clear, with a few small store spots of foxing. Some wear to internal joints, but overall strong binding for an antique miniature. Outer edges of boards turned upward
Rubbing to binding on boards, particularly around corners and edges. Rubbing and wear to leather spine with some small chipping to top and tail

Measuring in at 9cm this book is officially classed as a miniature by experts and collectors
