An early Victorian or William IV gold and coral mourning brooch.
The central glazed panel containing patterned swirls of hair. Embellished with textured coral individually mounted on a gold body. Tests for at least 9 carat gold.
Very original with no losses to the coral or damage, the eye for the pin is missing but still wearable.
Gross weight 3.4 grams. Length 2 cm.
