Winter-weight red wool suiting is cut on the bias creates a more formal style beanie. Wear pillbox style or pull down the fleece brim to cover the ears.

The 4" crown is cut bucket style but without the typical flared brim. It's sewn with fine woven wool cut on the bias to allow a little stretch and then cuffed with a 2" black fleece brim that's not itchy against skin. A cuffed brim is perfect for windy days.

It can be worn straight across the brow or at a slouchy slant. While the cuffed brim grips the forehead, the roomy top helps prevent 'hat hair.'

For absolute perfection, get the right red lipstick to go with--take the hat to your favorite makeup counter to match.

Measure around the head just above the ears and across the forehead to within 1/8" or 0.1 cm using a measuring tape or ribbon that does not stretch (don't use a string). Include the actual measurement with the order.
