This Inca Ritual offering conopa in the shape of alpaca, It's hand-carved out of caliza stone, with a hole in its back called a "qocha" (lagoon) the container for offerings during the ceremony " Haywarisqa" (ceremony of offerings). the offerings are llama fat and coca leaves.
Some Andean people use the conopas as an amulet, they place them in a special part of their homes.
This conopa comes from a Sunday market in the village of Huasao - Cusco.
