Vintage glass bowl organic handmade art glass, Sweden 1960s-70s



Huge glass bowl perfect for fruit or serving cheese with grapes and even fish is great to offer.
Also great as an antipasti platter for 2 people.

The thick glass is only slightly and unevenly corrugated. There are 2 overflowing waves on the edge but there are no handles.
It is deep with a wide mirror...which makes it very elegant!

2.5kg!!! pure glass, organically shaped. It looks round, but has little extras. From a distance it looks black... but it is
cobalt blue glass. I have rarely seen such a specimen in terms of weight and mysterious color.

If you're looking for a large bowl/serving platter for the garden and patio in the summer, it won't disappoint.
It also withstands rain and wind.

It comes from Sweden, bought in 1970, probably Ruda Glasbruk, I can't say exactly.

I photographed it as best I could to see the blue glass. Gladly more photos.
It's a lot nicer in the original than I can document.
In a very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks. No damages.
