store Fresh Water Seed Pearls with Sterling Silver.

I have melted the silver wires with a torch to make little balls, a technique named Granulation. I have paired some of these wires with little seed pearls.

The handcrafted ear wires have a full set of British Hallmarks and my Makers mark.

All of my jewellery is designed and handcrafted in my studio in Praa Sands.

Pearls are the birthstone of June.

These earrings come wrapped in pretty tissue paper, in an organza bag.

Care instructions: it is always good to be mindful that products such as soaps, perfumes, hairspray, body lotions, face cream, and sun cream are harmful to pearls, it can make their surface become dull. So it's better that if you use any of these products, to apply them and let them dry before you put on your pearls.

The Ph level of a persons skin can over time effect the lustre of a pearl, due to the natural acids eating at the surface. It's a good idea to wipe your pearls over with a soft, dry cloth or piece of material before putting them away.

It is best to when storing your pearls, to keep them in a soft pouch or it's own box as other jewellery can scratch the delicate surface.

To polish the silver backing, I recommend using Town Talk Silver Polishing Cloth, which I have for sale in my Etsy Shop. These cloths are impregnated with cleaning fluid and are so easy to use. Rub the silver with the cloth until shiny, but try to not let the pearls come into contact with it.
