This photo was inspired by a dream I had. I thought it to be a nightmare because like the clouds in this scene, all of my hopes were illusory and impossible to grasp even though they looked so real! I was inundated in sorrow and unknowing like the water…I felt very unsure of what to do next. The rocks however were not a representation of rock bottom, they were a source of comfort for me. They indicative of something real, solid and safe! From the rocks I could see the water and clouds but even better I seen them in a different light. The water was now a vessel to carry me to everything that was for me if I only went with it and not against the stream all that was meant for me would be mine and already was. The clouds then represented the beauty that was never mine to hold physically. I was to admire the beauty and store recreate that beauty in my own way and in my own life!
