Antique store Leather Collar Box, Drawstring Collar Box

This black leather collar box with a drawstring closure is in great condition for its age. It has wonderful details like the leather tassels at the end of the strings and a built-in compartment to store the studs for the collar.

The collar box, now obsolete, held detachable collars for men through the Victorian Era to ease the need to constantly wash and starch shirts when it was really the “ring around” the collar that needed laundering the most.

The exterior leather is in very good condition with no holes or tears, but it has a little store wear of the nature shown in the final pictures. The interior fabric has minor and light spot stains.

The box will come with the two Arrow paper collars, as well.
