store The star of this wonderful 1970s belt is the stoneware buckle made by the late American ceramic artist, Ken Edwards. The stoneware buckle has a high gloss glaze and features leaping gazelle, flowers and butterflies. Colors are pale grey, sage green, and rust with silver hardware. The buckle measures 2.75" wide x 3" long.

Jet black suede belt is 1" wide. Made by Little Fingers in Canada. Size Small. Measures 30" total length. Length buckle to last hole is 27"

Excellent, pre-owned condition. No smoke or other odors. No damage to buckle. Some wear to belt.

Ken Edwards was born in the USA, educated in the arts in Kansas City, Missouri and studied art in Japan. In the 1960's Ken Edwards migrated to the crafts village of Tonala, in Central Mexico, where he founded the company known as Ken Edwards Stoneware. A chronology of his works is featured at the Museo Regional de la Cerámica (Regional Ceramic Museum) in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico.
