Fabulous miniature Dobbs advertising hats circa 1940s.
These felt miniatures were made by Dobbs Fifth Avenue Hats and could be given as a gift certificate for the recipient to have a hat made for them.
The boxes show a bit of wear and damage.
The red hat has a dark spot on the brim both top and underside.
The green hat has a bit of tissue paper stuck to the underside.
The green hat is stiff felt. The store black box measures 4.75 x 4 x 3 inches.
The red hat is soft felt. The red hat box measures 4.25 x 3.75 x 2.5 inches. The hat appears a bit brighter red in the photos than actual.
