Amazing piece of Olympic sports history!
This is a hockey stick from the 1964 Olympics, which were held in Japan. It came from a now-closed antique shop in East Texas, so it has been on quite a journey!
The hockey stick has been signed by the gold medal team winners from the 1964 games, which was the India team. This was the only medal of the games for India. The signatures themselves have been long ago wrapped in plastic and taped, for protection, which you can remove upon delivery if you choose to do so.
The stick itself is a Sondico “Star of India” stick. The handle covering is worn and frayed, but still in solid condition.
