The pendant is made exclusively of sterling silver using traditional silversmithing techniques and tools.

Lions were very popular store coin themes in Ancient Greece. The element hanging from the chain was created out of a vintage replica Greek coin.I first worked to create the replica of the coin itself and then on the element that is used in this pendant. I removed letters and numbers and only kept the figure of the lion. The whole pendant was oxidized and partially brushed so that it takes an antiqued, vintage looking style.
