With the “Trip Down Memory Lane” Tote bag, you send in the pieces that will be used to create your one of a kind bag. Since each piece has special meaning for you, and its sturdy construction is built to withstand the test of time, it can become an heirloom that you can pass down to your loved ones.



The “Trip Down Memory Lane” Bag Details:

Full canvas body

Cotton lining

4 easily accessible exterior slip pockets (2 front, 2 rear) convenient for carrying water bottles, tablets, sunglasses, or extra storage.

Exterior pockets are 9” depth.

Bags come with accent fabric at top of bag, covering the surface of 2 front & rear exterior pockets, and interior lining.

The fabric decorating the bag would be created from beloved children's clothing.

Construction of your bag won't begin until you send me the clothing items that you want included.

Any remnants that remain of the provided clothing would be returned with your completed bag.

Webbed shoulder straps run entire length of bag, with reinforced stitching in 3 locations on each side of individual strap, and then sewn securely into bottom seams of bag providing maximum support and durability.

27” handles convenient for hand carrying or comfortably wearing on shoulder.

All seams have zig-zag stitch to prevent fraying and provide extra layer of stitching for added support.

All bags are custom made for the purchaser. No two bags are EVER alike.

Strap is embellished with a charm bouquet and a ribbon tassel.

Any personalized embellishments that could be created from the clothing that you provide (buttons, appliques, tiny pocket, trim, etc.)

Understand that any items you send me will be carefully deconstructed, cut into pieces, and restitched to construct your bag. I will decide on a plan for your bag after I see the items you send me. It's better to send me more items than you think I need, than too few. Not all of the parts of clothing can be reused. Children's clothing, especially, is very small and I need a lot of fabric to get enough coverage to fill BOTH sides of the bag. I will use what I can in a creative and artistic way to make a bag that you will love and that honors the items you've sent me.
