Art Portrait of a "Southern Belle" by artist Erich Correns. I am not an art expert, but it looks to be in good condition; has a few marks here and there from age I took pictures in different lighting to show how it looks and so store you can see details. From Wikipedia - Erich Correns was born at Cologne in 1821, and after studying at Bonn, went to the Academy at Munich , and became an accomplished portrait painter and lithographer . He died at the latter city in 1877. He was well known for the elegance of his portraits, among which those of King Maximilian of Bavaria and Queen Maria , his consort, are mentioned as noteworthy. The "Southern Belle" in the painting is known as the daughter of a jeweler. I could not find her name. * NOTE* All of my items are sold as is, with No returns.
