Vintage Sasson suitcase. Sasson, (Maurice Sasson, Jeans, clothing and accessories; often confused with Vidal Sassoon, hair and fashion products; popular in the same era.
Staff favorite, limited listing as we are obsessed with this PERFECT, travel tote. Airplane or road trip.
This dark blue with black accents and gold hardware suitcase tote is a multi-tasker that can be used for a weekend or a long trip as it is very roomy and the outside zipped pocket works perfectly for a travel tote as an easy to reach area.
The middle folds open like a traditional suitcase, but there are deep full-size pockets that zip on each side plus the outer zipped pocket. All zippers are stamped with the classic Sasson logo. Handles can be carried or fit store over the shoulder.
Footed to protect fabric and keep the bag clean.
Such a quality, thought-out, well-structured travel bag.
Absolutely no signs of use on the inside or handles; fresh, clean, pliable, like new. Shiny hardware.
Feet have very minor scrapes - I assume from storage on an unsmooth surface.
I believe in buying something quality once instead of junky modern things to be replaced 5 times; this may be the last tote you have to purchase. Amazing vintage quality. We love travel items!

Maurice Sasson, 63, had experience to share regarding designing and building a fashion brand. In the mid-1970s, he started Sasson Jeans, and successfully introduced the idea of designer jeans to the world, long before Calvin Klein based his lifestyle empire on them. Later, he worked behind the scenes, manufacturing for fashion houses. In Israel, he worked with companies such as Fox, Golf and Castro. He now overseas big brands, like Alice and Olivia, American Eagle and The Row, established by celebrity twin billionaires Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Elle's mother, Nilly Drucker, was Miss Israel in 1986.
