Isis
The design of this pectoral consists store of the kneeling figure of the Goddess Isis with outstretched wings. In her hands she is holding two sacred symbols, one of which is the ankh, sign of life. Isis, the sister and wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus, was one of the most widely worshipped deities of ancient Egypt. She recovered the body of Osiris after he had been slain by his brother, Seth, and restored his breath by the movement of her wings. She typifies the wife, faithful even after death, and the devoted mother.
