Beautiful Vintage 1982 Robert Cox multicolor daisies in a green vase oil painting in wood frame. American Artist Robert Cox's (1934-2001) was one of the most prolific painters of the 1970s and 1980s. His paintings were primarily brightly colored floral stills that were created using a palette knife. He store paid special attention to natural light and shadow, especially on the petals and leaves of his pieces. His works were featured at Carnegie Visual Arts Center, and were offered at auction multiple times. Artist signature is on the lower right corner of the painting. Certified Original Oil Certification Number 184056 by Artistic Interiors, Inc. 4-23-82 is also written at the back of the painting. Approximate size with frame: Length 15" x Width 17" Approximate weight: 2 lb 11.2 oz The painting is in excellent condition, but there are some scratches on the wood frame, as shown on the last two pictures.
