Stunning double terminated Phantom Amethyst Crystal from the Mwana Lubaba Mine in Zambia is a rare stone combining smoky quartz and amethyst.
The crystal formation has rich interior patterns with red hematite inclusions. Formed over millions of years sustaining changes in molten temperatures and tectonic movement within the earth, this crystal is in its natural rough form, not cut or polished in any way.
The crystal is simply wire wrapped and strung on an oxidized copper ball chain 27" long. (Note: prop does not show true length of chain) Stone size is 1 1/8" long and 5/8' at the widest point.
Phantom crystals are named for the crystal formations which float from within the stone giving it a double crystal appearance.

Note: oxidized metal finishes are more sensitive to salt water, perfume, lotions etc. and can discolor.
