This Crummles Enamels Hinged Trinket Box is from the Beatrix Potter, Timmy Tiptoes book. This is Timmy Tiptoes, the squirrel, on a branch when he was collecting nuts with his wife. The inside etching is Timmy Tiptoes and his wife, Mrs. Goody Tiptoes walking home in the rain under an umbrella. Timmy Tiptoes was stuck in the tree eating nuts store and getting fat and the wind blew off the top of the tree so he could finally get out.

Crummles & Co. enamel pill box featuring Timmy Tiptoes by Beatrix Potter. The series of enamel boxes produced by Crummles depicting the favorite scenes from her books are hand-painted in the traditional style of the 18th Century enamel boxes.

In great vintage condition. Any white spots are reflections or glares from the light. See all photos.

It measures approximately 2" wide x 1" Tall

Marked on the bottom with the Maker's Mark - and circled with the words: Made in England by Crummles & Co.- Copyright Frederick Warne P.L.C. London. Has some of the original store tag on the bottom.
