This intricately carved dandelion wood print block was hand crafted in India from sheesham wood (otherwise known as Indian Rosewood).

This piece measures 3 inches high (8 cm) by 2 inches wide (5 cm) and about 1 1/8 inches thick (2.7 cm).

Wood block prints can be used for a variety of purposes including textile and paper printing, clay impression, henna application, etc.

Various mediums can be used with these blocks for printing: oil and store acrylic paint, fabric paints/inks, vegetable dyes, henna, and water color paints and powders.
