The sheer joy from immersing myself in using pure colour and indulging in some gold watercolour paint is akin to opening an exotic box of chocolates.
I love this ancient house that is in Hemingford Grey, near St Ives, Huntingdon, with its beautiful gardens that have had tender care for nearly 1000 years. The textured brickwork bespeaks many years of weathering, in contrast to the sharp fresh forms and colours of another hot summer day.
