"Island Park", is a plein air painting of a small island in the Yampa River.
The Yampa River flows for miles in the Yampa Valley, in Northwest Colorado. It is a great place to fish and boat, including some amazing white water rafting.
The Yampa also provides the Valley with much needed irrigation and eventually flows into the Green River and into the Colorado River.
This is a spring painting with bright spring greens and deep blues. The trees are cottonwood, boxelder, and elm.

"Island Park", comes in a off white mat and protective sleeve. It is not framed. The mat fits into a 11" x 14" frame
