Store Primitive Punch Needle Easter Rabbit ~ Oschter Haws ~ table mat.

This folk art Punch Needle was drawn on weavers cloth by “Mom”. I punched the piece using 6 strands of DMC floss. Turned out beautiful and has the aged look to it!



Primitive Folk art Punch Needle circular table mat; circa 1810 Pennsylvania German Fraktur. "Oschter Haws" translates to Easter Hare. One of the original Pennsylvania German Fraktur that the mat depicts, is in the Winterthur Museum.



The mat is 10" in diameter and is finished to look aged.
