Custom Cast and Hand-finished Sterling Silver, this Boston Terrier Charm comes with a split ring to attach to a bracelet, or can be worn as a small pendant on a chain. This charm weighs 1.3 grams.

Each Animal Whimsey piece is custom made using the lost wax casting process and hand finished in our studio located in Dallas, TX. We specialize in unique, custom jewelry and have award winning clients from events including The National store Dog Show, The AKC Eukanuba Dog Show and more.

A special patina with liver of sulphur was applied to bring out more of the detail of the piece and give it an antique look. Liver of sulphur is used to create a patina which can range from a brown, purple, blue, green to a black. Each piece is going to be unique since the patina is painted on and then I buff off what I want to remain shiny. As the patina cures, the silver reacts chemically with the sulphur which makes it darker and as it oxidises, it eventually turns black. The end result is the detailed texture I use with sand blasting and carved features on the piece are more vivid

I included a photograph of our packaging to give you an idea of how each piece from the Animal Whimsey Collection is wrapped. Each piece is packaged in a red heart shaped organza bag and wrapped with paw print tissue paper.
