Product code: Petit Point/Crossstitch Framed store Cat Artwork - Vintage
Just adorable!!!!! This piece is beautifully hand done. The cat or kitten has a blue bow and store is sitting in a background of stitched hearts & flowers. Very tiny cross stitch so I believe that is technically petit point. Dated 1990 by JBA. It has been professionally framed and the frame is an antique style if not an antique. The frame has some missing gold tone paint on the bottom edge and some on the top tight edge - see photos for the best description. The piece is glassed and is approximately 24 inches wide and 20 inches tall. Including the frame and the double mat. The back does have a wire for hanging and is papered & it looks like some water marks on the bottom of the paper. The sewing is mounted in the middle so there's no water damage to the sewing piece. From a smoke free home.
