Vintage 1940s Evans compact/cigarette case combination - a Minaudiere Carryall 2-sided evening bag that opens separately on each side with a push button lock that work well and a silver tone mesh wristlet band…It features a shiny diagonal silver tone pattern, gold tone hinges and a large Gold tone oval bordered in sparkling rhinestones and a floral overlay also encrusted with rhinestones.

This particular piece has 1 side with a mirror (shows darkened areas), a face powder compartment (with original powder), separate powder puff, original tube of dark red lipstick in metal case, coin holder, and comb in comb holder – all appearing not to have been used (or barely). …The second side has an open case for cigarettes with the metal band that holds them in place(embossed Evans with Logo) and can be lifted & put back in place. There also 2 other attachments – one long rectangle & a round container – both purposes unknown (lighter match holder ?)

Measurements: 5.5” x 3.18” x 1”…..Wristlet double looped mesh band 5.5” x 5/8”

Excellent condition for age & wear …the darkened mirror is the only issue & that can be easily replaced.
