store This bright red rooster, who's definitely a fierce bird, stands out against a green and black checked background. Made of stoneware, so it's sturdy enough for daily use. All handmade and hand painted with a bit of sgraffito carving.

Made from clay slabs which when firm are painted with several coats of underglaze, carved and fired. Touched up if needed and re-fired, then 3 coats of clean glaze are applied and high fired for a final time.
