The remnant of the lightening strike is evident in the dark stripe running through the naturally light colored wood. The size of the bowl is approximately 2 3/8 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches in rim diameter, 4 5/8 inches at the opening, and 1 3/4 inches in depth. The hand-carved center medallion is 2 1/8 in diameter and was influenced by the natural beauty store of the botanical world.
