Vintage Iittala Ultima Thule store Carafe, Decanter, Pitcher - Finland, Mid Century Scandinavian Modern, Bar Cart, Martinis, Cocktails

Vintage carafe, decanter or pitcher (martinis?) by Iittala in the Ultima Thule pattern. Made in Finland of clear, textured crystal. The inside is smooth, but the outside resembles a cork or ice texture with a series of drippy bumps on the base. 3 are longer than the others, and serve as the feet. Allows for a beautiful play of light. Wider base, narrower neck and lip, small but purposeful spout. Has only a portion of the original tag. Would look great on a table decanting wine or water, feature on your bar cart for a bit store of vintage bling. Hard to find, making it a great holiday or hostess gift. From the 1970's, so a classic mid century Scandinavian modern piece.

Measures 8 5/8 inches (22 cm) tall, 2 3/8 inches (6 cm) wide at the lip, 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide at the base. Holds 4 cups or 32 fluid ounces.

No chips, cracks or scratches. No cloudiness or dishwasher fade (but please don't put in the dishwasher). I can feel some wear to the bottom of the feet, and most of the original tag is gone. See photo 6 for what remains.
