A vintage store early 1940s maternity set (though it could be belted if you didn't want to wear it as a maternity piece). The set consists of a dress and a button front top that goes over the dress. The top has puffed sleeves, and the dress fastens with side snaps. The pink floral print fabric feels like cold rayon. The top part of the dress feels like acetate or an acetate blend.
Size: small to medium (even though bust/waist measurements seem larger because it's a maternity piece, the shoulders measure like a smaller size)

Bust: difficult to measure because it's pretty open on the side bust
Waist (13" from shoulder): 32"
Hip: 46"
Length: 41"
Top:
Bust: 44"
Waist: 44"
Length: 23"
Shoulder (from seam to seam): 14.5"
Condition: Very good. The bodice of the underdress has some repairs and minor pulls, and there's a wear spot or two on the upper part of the skirt (see last three photos). These aren't noticeable because they are covered by the top, and they don't affect the wearability of the set.
