Store Hearts and Flowers by Johnson Brothers Teacup and Saucer Set of 8, Vintage Old Granite Staffordshire Ironstone, Transferware

Here store is a charming vintage set of 8 Staffordshire ironstone teacups and saucers in the Hearts and Flowers transferware pattern by Johnson Brothers. They feature a sweet couple holding hands amongst flowers and hearts in a Pennsylvania Dutch folk art style. She has her hand over her heart as she looks over at him, he stares back at her, they are clearly in love! The pottery is a lovely cream color with an overall blue pattern that is enhances with yellow and red accents in the painted design. They make a wonderful addition to tea time!

The set is in great vintage condition with some crazing in the glaze on a couple of the cups. These lovely cups and saucers have been previous loved and used, there are no repairs, stains, or cracks.

The saucers measure 5 5/8 inches in diameter. The base of the saucers are marked ‘Staffordshire, Old Granite, Made in England by Johnson Bros., A genuine hand engraving, Detergent and Acid resisting, Dish Washer Safe, Ironstone, Hearts & Flowers'.

The tea cups are 2 1/2 inches tall, with a 3 1/4 inch diameter opening and are 4 3/8 inches wide from rim to edge of handle. The cups are marked 'Made in England' on their bases.
