Chinese Elder Fishing store Caricature Original

I see the occasional image like this which somehow captures my attention for some less than obvious reason at first but then over a short time, it's intrigue grows and it stirs store the interest. It is well drawn and painted on some kind of material which seems to have been carefully chosen. It does come with a rigid card mount and is in excellent condition.
