Freshwater pearl bracelet, white freshwater store pearls, double strand bracelet, silver bracelet, sterling jewelry, charm bracelet, bracelets
I've combined two different size freshwater pearls for this two strand pearl bracelet. The larger strand was made using 8mm (.31 inch) white freshwater pearls which have been interspersed with delicate sterling silver beads. The smaller strand consists of 3.5mm (.14 inch) white freshwater pearls. Hanging from the smaller pearl strand are 'charms' that I've made using the smaller pearls which are attached store to the sterling silver beads. Each end is finished with sterling beads and toggle clasp and, unusual for me, this bracelet does not have a charm hanging from the clasp. I liked the look without the charm so went with the flow. These white pearls have a beautiful lustre and the bracelet itself seems to glow from colour within. I consider these pearls to be a semi-baroque shape: they are slightly irregular, not symmetrical in nature but just lovely. The toggle clasp and beads are made from 925 sterling silver. The bracelet is strung on 49 strand Beadalon stringing wire.
This bracelet comfortably fits a 6 ½ inch wrist. The bracelets themselves tend to dictate the size but most can be made larger or smaller. Just ask!
A comfortably fitting bracelet will generally be ¾ of an inch larger than the size of your wrist. I've used a bracelet sizer to determine the wrist size for each bracelet but keep in mind that the bracelets will also fit wrists a bit larger as well as a bit smaller: some people like bracelets to fit loosely while others prefer a more snug fit.
