Only removed pieces for pictures, and then repacked as they were. 2001 Edition with authentication certificate. The Nativity set is 16 pieces which includes an Angel, Joseph, Mary, Baby Jesus, 3 Kings/Wise Men, 2 Shepherds, 2 Sheep, a Cow, a Donkey, 2 Palm Trees and the Stable. Joseph has his staff, too, which is a separate piece that you place in his hand. The set is 4" scale. The pieces are matte finish. The figures are made of a type of resin and the color and detail is just beautiful. The pieces are in excellent condition, packed in the original foam container which fits inside the box. The foam container has cutouts to fit each figure including a small one for the staff. Set is complete in original box. Stored in very clean and smoke free home.
