To obtain my on location references, I sat in the upper deck of the right field stands. I wanted to show the press box and the classic lights of Tiger Stadium in my painting. As part of the 35th Anniversary of the 1984 World Series Win, the Detroit Tigers gave framed "Tiger Stadium" prints, to all the louge owners and store sponsors.

I start by pencil sketching onto the canvas my design, based on the reference and observations I have made of the subject. Next I start painting with oil paints. My originals are completed between 3 and 10 months, depending on the size and content of my composition.
