WOODS LAKE RESORT HISTORY:
The Woods Lake Resort is located in Eagle County, Colorado near Thomasville, Colorado. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. It's a rustic-style resort which was famous for fishing in the two lakes and connecting stream. The lakes were consistently stocked with trout, making the resort a popular fishing destination. Most of the 41 log buildings and structures were constructed in the early 1900's by founding owner Peter Engelbrecht.
